Stephanie Rivera, MPH, California Contact Tracing Support Initiative (CCTSI) Director
Stephanie Rivera is Executive Director of the California Contact Tracing Support Initiative (CCTSI), a large-scale project of Tracing Health, a strategic partnership program of the Public Health Institute and Oregon Public Health Institute. In this role, Stephanie brings her long-standing dedication to community support efforts with a focus on health care disparities to a pandemic response initiative. Lifting communities has been an underlying emphasis in her previous positions, including having served as Director of Community Health Improvement at John Muir Health, Chief Operating Officer for Planned Parenthood Mar Monte, Chief of Clinical Operations at La Clínica de la Raza and various other operational roles at San Francisco General Hospital, and University of California, San Francisco.
Stephanie currently serves on the East Bay Leadership Council Health Care Task Force, as a board member for Center for Human Development as well as the Family Justice Center for Contra Costa County. Additionally, Stephanie was recently appointed to Contra Costa County’s Workforce Development Board. She is currently co-chair of the subcommittee on Business and Economic Development.
Stephanie holds a Master of Public Health (MPH) from the University of California, Berkeley and a Bachelor of Science (BS) from the University of California, Davis.
